Each day that the chick moved around he became stronger and more agile.  His day was spent eating, sleeping and exercising.  He sometimes followed a parent.  Other times he struck out on his own with a parent following closely.  While the adults forage for food and feed the chick, the chick is learning what to eat and how to find food.
